Oquirrh Mountain Temple - Bridals - Utah Wedding Photographer

This session was super close to being rained out. We were all praying the rain would hold off for just an hour or two. It did! Enjoy looking at photo's of this happy couple!

Stephanie and I were roommates her last semester at BYU-Idaho. It was one of the greatest semesters! We did spend a whole lot of evenings talking about marriage (it's byui haha) and now she's found her man! Her wedding colors are just the same ones that we discussed over a year ago. She also found the perfect dress! (Elizabeth Cooper Design) Her groom makes her so happy!

That semester we had so many fun adventures! Stephanie and I love Christmas so much. We watched so many Christmas movies together. It was the best. We also were bored one Friday evening so we went and did dishes for the boys in our ward. We attempted a "No Facebook November" instead of a "No Shave November". It only lasted a week so we just made a grateful wall in our kitchen. We laughed lots and lots. It was such a blessing to have lived at that apartment with her! 

The rain started to come down hard right as the session was over! Here's the last candid shot. The snowflake blanket fits her love for Christmas perfectly:)

I'm listening to the rain outside as I post these sunny photo's. Can you believe all of the rain we've had lately? I don't mind the rainy days. Cozy clothes are my favorite.

not a selfie

It's about time I came up with a personal project! I've been thinking this up for a while now so now I'm going to put my thoughts into action. I can't tell you how good it feels to have photography on my mind lots and lots. My thoughts on this project were keeping me up at night. Personal projects are important for photographers. Shoot for myself.

Everyone deserves to have professional photographs of themselves at least once a year. You deserve more than a selfie.  Let someone else capture your beauty.

#carselfie A whole photoshoot taken in a car. You probably read that and thought what in the world? Well, car selfies are quite popular. Want to know why? The lighting is actually quite nice in there! It's like being surrounded in lovely soft boxes (lighting equipment). So why not do a professional shoot in a car? It doesn't have to be a cool car. A typical ordinary car will work just fine!

#selfesteem A teenager in her room. Teens take a whole lot of photo's in their room. Good light and your face are what makes up a nice photograph. Give me a room with a window and we're all set! Teenagers probably take the most selfie's out of anyone right? Being a teenager is the biggest struggle. Out of anyone they deserve having someone else see them in good light.
