Elephant Rock - Bountiful Utah - Perfect Hike

I'm so glad my brother went on this hike with me! It was SO beautiful! Everything is so green! I kept saying it's so pretty! Then of course we started singing that song "I feel so pretty and whitty...." and I don't even know the rest of the words. I loved hanging out with him. Hikes are a great way to learn about a person. We talked about our favorite artists, girls at his school, snakes...we saw a snake! I don't know why we've all been complaining about the rain! I liked it. See all the green it brought?

I thought my Mom would like the purple:) She always looks for screensaver's for her electronics on my blog.

Hiking at golden hour is thee best! I loved this!

Summer Bucket List

My summer begins in less than two weeks! Yes, my summer does begin in basically spring. BYU-Idaho is great for that! I've already started my summer bucket list. I feel like I have to publish it somewhere in order for it to actually happen. Living in Bountiful puts my closer to all of the adventures and photo's I want to take!

The list:

- Park City: Art Galleries, stop at famous white barn
- Thanksgiving Point: Tulip Festival
- Antelope Island: sunrises and sunsets
- Utah Lake: sunrises and sunsets
- Tibble Fork
- Kayaking: lots of it
- Hikes: lots of them
- Zoo
- Read
- Lavendar Fields: sunset in August
- Drive In Movies

Along with lots of other picture taking!

Nauvoo IL!

Jonathon Browning was really an amazing man! He did so much for others. Plus it's cool that he is so well known now for the Browning company.

My ancestors crossed this long river.

I'm glad this day was so sunny! The leaves reflecting on the glass was so pretty.

Have you ever seen such beautiful orange leaves! They were really that orange! The gardens were my favorite part! Beautiful, beautiful. It felt so good. Moments where you know your life will work out just how it is supposed to.

The last night there we hung out on the lawn of the Nauvoo Temple. There was a parade for Halloween and a pumpkin carving contest. Nauvoo is such a cute clean town. I was impressed by all the locals that came out for the event. Such a beautiful day.

Nebraska

Omaha Nebraska is super cool! I really love to visit big cities. I wouldn't really want to live in one. Just on the border of one. Just like Bountiful. It's close enough to Salt Lake and walking distance to the mountains. City buildings have the coolest tall windows. At every place we were at I just thought "Man taking engagements here would be so cool!" Destination sessions someday?? Yes, I'll make that happen!

Winter Quarters Temple

For the photo below I was laying down on the ground. It was super funny because at first people were like "What is that girl doing?" On a photo excursion no one would have found me being on the ground out of the ordinary. Then six other girls laid on the ground to take a picture with their iphone or point and shoots. They got to see something a way they normally wouldn't have seen it. It was too funny.

 Independance Rock

The last stop on the trip was Martin's Cove. We walked some of the places our ancestors walked. We complained about the twenty two hour bus ride and they walked those plains in such terrible conditions. I'm so very grateful I was able to go on this trip. Trials are a part of life. Walk by faith as the early saints did. They didn't know how long it would take them to make the journey west, but they walked by faith and made it to Salt Lake!
